Hudge Media, LLC., a multi-media company in Trigg County Kentucky, has been named a winner in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards for a promotional video created for Trigg County Hospital. The video, featuring the story of Cadiz native Clay Stevens’ emergency room and LifeFlight experience at TCH, was one of nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.

The video won a Bronze Telly in two categories, Public Relations and Miscellaneous. It is one of three videos Hudge Media produced for TCH to use on a new website. Each video promotes a different service offered by the hospital – the ER, the physical therapy clinic and the Breast Imaging Suite.

“The win is important to us,” said company owner and video producer Drew Hudgins. “We do good work, serious work. An award is like a merit badge that helps you establish yourself in your chosen field. These awards speak to the quality of the work we do.”

In addition to producing professional-quality videos for its clients, Hudge Media provides a variety of creative resources, including web design, web content with an emphasis on Search Engine Optimization, and a variety of print materials tailored to each client’s needs. Although this is not Hudgins’ first video award, it is the first award Hudge Media has received since locating in Cadiz. And it’s the first award featuring a local client.

While the award is an honor for Hudge Media, Hudgins hopes the award will be a boost for the hospital as well.

“Many companies make videos,” Hudgins said. “I believe we’re different because we take the time and make the effort to create a strong story that will emotionally impact viewers. When people see it, they’ll share it. They’ll remember that story because of how it was told.”

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards.  “Hudge Media’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions, and online video.  Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
